Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My classroom is full of engineers, mathematicians, and curious minds! Students are interested in building, experimenting and thinking about math in the word around them. And they love doing this with hands on materials!

To bring STEM to our classroom, we need hands on resources.

Kindergartners will have the opportunity to build and test structures with MagnaTiles. The different counters will allow students a hands on understanding of number bonds, addition and subtraction. And, we can never have enough storage for our math materials!

Thank you for helping to bring these STEM resources to our youngest learners!
