First grade is an amazing year! To see these students open up and grow is awesome! It is also a huge year for academic growth! My students have such a love for learning and I intend to foster that love!
Reading is my passion and I think all of my students know that!
Getting books into their hands is what I am all about! I love to see their faces when we get new books! Most of my students' families cannot afford to buy them books, so providing books in my classroom is critical!
My Project
My passion is reading and I want to get books into every one of my first graders' hands! Many of the resources and books handed down to me our older and well-used. I want my students to realize that a good book can bring reading to life. Getting update, beautiful books in their hands is essential!
Teachers want all students to become lifelong learners and to get a fire in their souls for reading!
With these donations I will be well on my way to getting books into my students' hands! With multiple copies of books, my kids will be able to read with one another and learn through partner work and cooperation and that is a skill that will carry with them throughout life.
