My Students

My first-grade students are amazing, curious, and brave! We are the largest district in the state of NH. My classroom is a community of learners that come from many different economic and ethnic backgrounds, many of who come from high poverty areas. Our school is a Title I school and 65% of our school's population receives free or reduced-price lunch.

They enter class every day with a smile and a positive attitude and are always ready to learn.

We work together to create a caring and kind place for all students to grow, play and learn. As we build this community, we learn about what we have in common and celebrate our differences. This is true whether we are in the classroom or learning remotely.

My Project

These two Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will go toward PowerPoint presentations to help enhance the visual, interactive, and hands-on learning for our Amplify Knowledge portion of our day. As of right now, we have a handful of the PowerPoints and we are looking to provide our students with the rest of them.

These slides allow us to tell stories, review vocabulary, and have students visually see what we are learning.

These slides have been a great asset to the students’ learning and comprehension. Using our large Clear Touch deepens our understanding the Human Body, Early World Civilization, Astronomy, and Early U.S Civilization, just to name a few. These slides will be enlarged on the Clear Touch for the students to see.
