My students need this all-in-one printer and toner so they can print out their work and show it off. We use Google Classroom for almost everything, but unfortunately, I'm usually the only one that gets to see it!
I teach fifth grade boys and girls and at this age they are learning to become independent and organized. They are preparing to say goodbye to elementary school and say hello to junior high where they will face a whole new world a challenges.
My students this year are very special to me.
They are not afraid to ask questions, they know they need to understand something completely before moving on to something new. They're always working hard and striving to be better students. They are confident and show leadership, they want to help each other. They not only care about themselves and their own wellbeing, but also their classmates. They look out for each other. This class is definitely one of a kind.
My Project
I am trying to raise enough money to purchase this all-in-one printer for my classroom. Using Google Classroom has amazing benefits, but all too often, an activity or creation is forgotten about once the student logs off of the computer.
My students save their work somewhere in cyberspace and I am usually the only one who gets to enjoy it.
The kids need to be able to keep their work, show it off, display it, bring it home to their parents, and most importantly, be proud of it! Their work should not just be stowed away in a file on a desktop forever. This printer and toner will help make a difference in my students' learning by allowing just that!
