I'm a resource teacher in a Special Education classroom for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students and Stevenson Middle School in Honolulu, HI.
My special education students are awesome and hungry to learn in the right learning environment.
SMS is a low-income school and my students come from a wide range of backgrounds including local Hawaiian families, Micronesian families, Asian families and many others. They're funny, kind, and creative and really want to know that I care about them as a teacher!
I work hard to create that learning environment for my students so that the learning meets the individual needs of each student that walks through my classroom!
My Project

I want to bring Super Mario Bros graphics into the classroom and bring the room to life while help students to be thinkers!
I'd like to have the opportunity to purchase Super Mario Bros. wall graphics and create a classroom learning environment for my students that sparks creativity, motivates learning and helps students feel welcomed.
Our school does not let us print in color and so I feel like our students learn in the dull colors of black, white and grey school when it comes to graphics. This project will bring the classroom to life!
