I have an amazing class of third graders that are curious, enthusiastic, creative and eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge.
These children are absolutely fearless and passionate when it comes to technology. As children of the twenty-first century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.
My Project
Every year I create a magical reading experience for my 3rd graders using the book Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. To celebrate our reading, we have an amazing Harry Potter Day. My students need to have a Harry Potter Coding Wand Kit to help add to their magical experience. My class is very familiar with coding and they absolutely love to code.
The Harry Potter Coding Wand will take their coding experience to a whole new magical level!
My students also need paperback copies of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone so that they can follow along while I read aloud to them, while I'm all dressed up as a wizard! I would also like to be able to give them multiplication and division practice that is more fun than a standard worksheet, which I why I have requested the Harry Potter math coloring book.
