My Students

My students are full of energy, excitement, and have amazing potential. They come into the classroom every day ready to explore labs and share their knowledge.

The students in my classroom are scientists that need an energy outlet, and the outdoors is a great way to do this.

I teach an amazing group of sixth, seventh, and eighth graders at a Title I school. My students have very diverse backgrounds and learning styles. They have a wide variety of needs, learning styles, and goals. My goal is to give each student the best learning opportunities possible.

My Project

Teaching science can be a tough concept for students to comprehend, so why not bring the science to the classroom. Students will be able to learn about different biomes and habitats hands-on with this project based learning idea. With the purchase of 2 Geckos and Exo Terra habitat, my students will have first hand knowledge of the desert environment.

This project based learning idea will give my students an excellent way to comprehend the desert environment and factors that impact the environment.

Lets bring the classroom to life with this project and allow my students hands-on experiences of how the desert environment and it's wildlife interact.
