My awesome kindergarteners are eager and ready to learn. My school is located in a small town in Oklahoma, where everyone knows everyone. Our school is a Title I school where many are on free or reduced lunches. My students work hard and love coming to school each and every day. I want to make sure they know I believe in them and I will push them to be their very best. My kids deserve a place where they feel comfortable so I know they are ready to learn.
My Project
Technology and my students are the future. The students will be able to use this hands on software to learn in all areas of our curriculum. Learning Alive is Science, Technology, Math, and Reading.
Reading Alive will take the students on an adventure with letter cards that use augmented reality to help the students make connections to the real world.
They will learn about each animal by watching a video that is connected to the card and they will also be able to build sentences with the letter, sight word and vocabulary cards.
Math Alive will help the students develop their numbers and number sense. They will learn one to one correspondence, tally marks, counting, number words and other math concepts.
The Alive Studios pairs great with the HP Sprout in a literacy and math center. The students will be able to interact with the cards on their own or in a small group. They will have interactive journals to show what they are learning in the center.
