As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
These students are growing and learning in the same small, tight knit, school community that inspired me to be a teacher.
They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are budding ambassadors, world travelers, scientists, entrepreneurs, teachers... They are our future and I want to give them a great start to their long successful career
These interactive materials will encourage my students to gain an interest and understanding of animals, their life cycles, and their habitats. By using these materials students will be able to touch, feel, and experience animals in a fun hands-on approach. My students will be able to learn Science thru a fun and interactive experience. They will be able to see the animals and insects develop through various stages of their life cycles through the viewers and take a sense of ownership and responsibility as they help feed and take care of the fish and insects. I am excited to bring these materials into my classroom!
