My Students

Hello! I am a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and love working with my students on their communication skills. I teach around 50+ students, ranging from kindergarten to 8th grade, who are all diagnosed with varying Speech-Language disorders. Some of my students are diagnosed with speech sound disorders, fluency disorders (stuttering), language delay, phonology disorders, CAS, difficulty with social skills, etc.

Speech therapy is very interactive, and the students learn best while they are having fun and engaged!

I use lots of games, books and interactive therapy materials to help increase their speech-language skills. I also like to bring in books to share stories of other children who are experiencing similar abilities.

My students have diverse speech-language needs and unique interests. All of my students'​ needs are different making it challenging to supply all of them with the unique tools, motivating material and supplies to assist them in their communication goals and success. Please help me supply them with the resources that will bring fun, encouragement, and enjoyment while meeting their individualized needs. I want them to be excited about participating in speech therapy and the true joy of developing their speech-language skills.

My Project

I want to bring joy and fun into their speech therapy session to help increase speech and language skills and create a positive experience as they learn to develop their communication skills!

Children learn the best while they’re having fun! That’s why books, games and motivational activities are an essential part of therapy. Speech-language skills occur naturally as the children are answering questions and interacting while reading books and playing games, we work on language comprehension, practicing their speech sounds, and using strategies to help fluency. We work on practicing social skills during turn taking games while we learn about good sportsmanship, staying on non-preferred topics, managing emotions and personal space. We use books to also help them see other children with their same challenges and strengths.
