My Students

At my school, we have a diverse environment where every student is exposed to a variety of hands-on art experiences. We are a school of choice in the district, where students desire to attend this school. My school provides a rounded education for every child through art integration.

Fourth grade students at my school are driven and eager learners.

Rarely are they absent and while at school, or participating in after school activities, they are always active participants in their learning.

My Project

Although my school is an integrated arts school and we expose students to a variety of art within the walls of the school, students still need an exposure and opportunites to experience art in the community.

An exciting part of being in fourth grade is learning about our wonderful state.

This trip will allow students to expand their knowledge of Idaho History by participating in a workshop designed to further their understanding of Lewis and Clark and the Native Americans in Idaho.

As teachers, we will be able to allign social studies, science and health standards with this trip.
