This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing. Many of my students come from homes that only supply faucet water for them to drink. When they come to school they still drink from fountains that are extremely old and many times are not even working! I am looking to provide my students with healthy filtered water. Not only will you be helping my students learn healthy habits but providing them with the resources they need to learn these habits! Please help my students stay healthy!

My Project

I want to provide my students a comfortable place to learn. I am hoping that when my students are provided the comforts of home they will feel comfortable enough to learn. Learning can be extremely stressful especially when you are sitting in a hard chair all day long. Providing my students with comfortable seating options will allow them to relax and open their minds to the world of possibilities! Many of my students are sharing beds within their homes, I would like for them to be as comfortable as possible with their classroom. I am in hopes of creating an inviting environment for my students with your help!
