My Project

Each year in Social Studies students learn about Ancient Civilizations. One of the civilizations we cover is Ancient China. The students become very interested in events of the past.

One of histories mysteries that grabs students' attention is the Hidden Terra-Cotta Army of the Emperor Qin Shi Huang.

Each solider is different. With this project students will have the opportunity to combine their historical knowledge with art.

Our school does not offer art as a special, so any art exposure and experience needs to happen in the classroom. Projects like this help students become familiar with art techniques and have an opportunity to be creative.
