My Students

Our school is a federal child care program that services children from low income families get ready for kindergarten and enter at a higher level.

Our activities focus on building more self-esteem for each student, and by helping children and their families work together to come up with solutions to problems.

Our program has strong education components. We provide extra stimulation and experiences, and social skills that help prepare children for formal education in kindergarten and beyond.

Our students focus on learning through play and having choices about their day and their lives.

My Project

My students are struggling to be engaged in at home learning. Virtual is something that all students have a hard time with, especially the students in preschool. They rely on their families to provide the time and encouragement to learn and be engaged.

This at home learning kit will allow my students to learn and be active students all on their own.

They can play and use the materials without the immediate supervision of their families. On the flip side, this is also a great tool for their families to have readily available to encourage learning and development.
