My Students

We are a school of about 600 students, ECE-5th grade ranging from general education, gifted and talented, to students with Autism. My fifth graders are hard-working, quirky, and strive to excel at the tasks set before them.

This environment will prepare them for the schooling, jobs, and the future that lies ahead of them.

I will have thirty amazing students next year in my homeroom class that will stay with me for core subjects such as reading, writing, math, science, skills, and social studies.

My Project

Have you ever completed an Escape Room? Did you enjoy it? Think how awesome it would be to bring the Escape Room concept to children's learning. This is my goal!

Breakout EDU is an immersive games platform for learners of all ages.

In Breakout EDU games, players work collaboratively to solve a series of critical thinking puzzles in order to open a locked box. Each Breakout EDU starter kit can be used to play hundreds of games.

My classroom needs this Breakout EDU kit so that we can play hundreds of games in a variety of subjects including but not limited to ELA, math, science, and social studies.

This kit will allow students to approach learning in and out of the box fashion. These kits allow for collaboration and leadership skills to master specific lessons. In addition, the kits personalize learning so that learning is fun again. Be a part of this cutting edge way to present learning and donate to this project!
