I teach in a rural Montana school. Many of our families travel to other areas for work. Our students are held to a high standard of hard work, compassion and kindness. We work hard to give our students a small town education with a huge impact. Valuing the closeness of a small community and allowing students to soar with opportunities in all aspects of education. Kindergartners enter school with excitement and passion to learn. I strive to fuel their excitement!
I am seeking a donation of watercolor supplies to build art into my kindergarten class on a weekly basis. Children learn so much through creatively expressing themselves through art. By supporting my project you are helping to ensure that art becomes a stable part of our week. Students love to paint when given an opportunity. We use painting to help remember story characters, celebrate holidays, for practicing fine motor and to simply allow kindergartners to be 5 years old and know it is okay to have fun and be messy at times. Please help keep art alive in my classroom!
