My Students

are growing up in a technology rich world. I would like to provide my students with a technology enriched classroom.

I teach 3rd grade in a suburban elementary school which serves multiple neighborhood areas and a large, local military base.

Students therefore come to the classroom from a very diverse mix of socioeconomic and multicultural backgrounds. Additionally, my students have varied levels of developmental abilities, including both special-needs and gifted students.

My Project

The television will allow me to bring the outside world into the classroom through real world lessons. The lessons will become more meaningful when students can see actual events. For example when we are discussing a unit on butterflies, I can show them the life cycle of a caterpillar/butterfly
