I am a teacher in a Title I school. My classroom is made up of EC children and typically developing students. I have students who have special needs and behavior challenges. My classroom also has students who are learning English as a second language.
My students try so hard to learn new things!
They work hard every day to learn the new things that are needed for school. They love taking books home to read to their parents by doing a picture walk. They love showing their families what they can do even before they learn to read words in a book.
The students that I teach have never been to a farm before. with the farm animals and the farm puzzles they will have a chance to see some things about the farm. They might not get to go to the farm but at least they will be able to see somethings that live on a farm.
When students show interest in animals I feel as a teacher I should teach them about all kinds of animals.
Living in the city my students never get to go to a farm and these puzzles and farm items will allow them to see hands on somethings about a farm.
I feel like my children will love to learn about the sounds different animals on the farm make. What does a pig look like, what does a horse sound like, and where do the animals on a farm live? These are some of the questions that will be answered with your help when you fund this project. Please help my students learn about the farm animals.
