Help me give my students a gymnastics cheer mat so that they can practice tumbling and prepare performances for cheer competitions.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My school in one of the roughest neighborhoods in South Los Angeles. Yet my students come to school every day with a positive outlook and the drive to succeed. All the students at my school are special, but student-athletes are especially important because they bring spirit and pride to a school that many students would be ashamed to claim.
Our athletics program continues to be successful despite an extreme lack of funding.
Our student-athletes are full of grit, pride, and resilience. Provide funding for a group of students who work hard to overcome obstacles every day. Help them continue to be well-rounded students excelling in academics and sports.
The cheerleading program at our school has endured a rollercoaster of changes. Our team has had three coaches in the past two years and a cut in funding. Our school's sports teams are doing great, yet our cheerleaders are not able to support due to a lack of supplies. In addition, the changes to the cheer squad meant our cheerleaders were not prepared for cheer competitions this year and had to forfeit.
Despite all of these obstacles, our cheer squad is determined to rebuild!
Your donation to this project will help to ensure our squad has the equipment needed to prepare for upcoming cheer competitions. They will also be able to safely practice stunts so that they can cheer on their fellow athletes during games. Your donation will ensure our cheerleaders can actually cheer.
