Technology is our future! I am honored to be a part of our school family! I am continuing my efforts to add to the rich legacy of the school which is filled with faculty and staff members who constantly seek avenues to enhance academic growth for all of our students. My students come from a variety of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
For the next three years, we are excited to be a school who has been awarded to become a Verizon Innovative Learning school.
A third of lower income households have children don’t have access to high-speed internet at home. This inequality only furthers the homework gap and can put low income students at a learning disadvantage. By giving students tablets and access at school and at home, we help under-served students develop the tools and confidence they need to become tomorrow’s innovators. More specifically, we hope we can ignite these students’ interest in STEM careers and give them the opportunity to become lifelong learners, creators, and problem solvers.
My Project
Headphones can change the educational experience for the better. By investing in a pair of quality education headphones, I can are help my students reach their full potential in the classroom. This technology will provide them more learning opportunities and additional ways to focus.
