My students walk into my classroom each and every day intrigued to learn. They get excited about learning and make me proud to be their teacher! My goal is to push my students to be the best that they can be, day in and day out.
My fourth graders are comprised of 43 creative, intelligent, and remarkable students.
Many of my students come from bilingual households and receive free or reduced-price lunch at our Title I school.
To help with the many challenges that the students face, my classroom provides a safe and meaningful learning experience for all. They are excited to explore the world of mathematics, science, and social studies. They take much pride in their work and efforts and are always up for a new challenge.
My Project
I have requested an HP Officejet printer, two sets of ink cartridges, and 12-sided dice for my classroom. The printer will be used for a variety of activities such as printing math centers, individual student-created reports/projects, and student pictures to be posted based on achievements. The 12-sided dice will be used continuously as students often engage in dice games at math centers.
Having access to a printer will take my students' projects to the next level!
Currently, when students are finished with a project such as creating a Powerpoint, it gets saved on the computer but the students are unable to bring it home and show their parents! I know having a printer in class will not only motivate students to create a masterpiece they can be proud of, but they will have proof to show others too!
The 12-sided dice will bring some more fun to our centers. Currently, we have 6-sided dice so students usually double the numbers or simply roll numbers 1-6. With this project funded, students will build their math fluency with numbers 1-12!
