My students are in jail and it has been awfully hard for them. Visitors have been limited and contact with outside organizations and families has been challenging due to health restrictions.
Our students are in a very challenging moment in their lives and even the smallest things can do so much to ease the pain inherent in incarceration.
The young students feel the institution does not provide adequate hygiene materials and ask me to ask the donors for help with these items including toothpaste, toothbrushes, and deodorant.
The young men in the maximum security unit have requested these items. I have posted many projects like this in the past and I cannot express how much they mean to the kids. I would love to be able to give them these before the break. Thank you for considering.
