My class is filled with wonderful eager kindergartners from unique backgrounds. They are constantly excited to learn new things and expand their knowledge through learning and play. They may have not known each other before but they are building amazing relationships with each other and creating a family within the classroom.
My class consists of 24 fascinating, loving, children who can't wait to see what's going to happen next.
Of these children, many are English Language Learners experiencing school for the first time but this doesn't stop them from trying new things and immersing themselves in everything they do.
My Project
My class is silly and wonderful and just loves to express themselves though different forms of art. Currently that are limited to crayons and markers. These supplies will allow us to create paintings using acrylic paints as well as watercolors.
Some of our students are still new to the English language and art is an amazing way to express themselves using a universal language.
Students are always looking for new outlets for their imaginations and having acrylic paint, watercolors and brushes would give them that opportunity. Any help you can offer to this cause would be appreciated so much by all of us.
