I have the best students! Their curiosity and joy for learning makes my job my happy place. We learn and laugh together on a daily basis. I can't believe I get to do something this fun every day! I love my Ants!
My Project
I have been teaching now for 14 years and this year in particular has been very difficult for my students. With the pandemic and everything else going on in our world today, they need to feel like they belong and art part of something. My goal is to make all of my students feel included. I teach children from all different types of backgrounds, ethnicities, and ability levels. Being able to walk through our school with our class-themed shirts show all of my students that they are not alone. We are The Picnic Class. We are the Ant Family. WE BELONG!!!
