Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is a title one school where most of my students come from low-income homes or are English language learners. Fortunately, our school is able to offer 100% free breakfast and lunch to all of our students. But, it is difficult for these families to provide all the necessities for the success of their children's education.
As a first year teacher, it is difficult to create a warm and inviting learning environment without the right tools.
My students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. I am looking to keep things fun, engaging, and provide my students with a meaningful learning experience.
My Project
I have students on a large range of learning levels. The additional help of Chromebooks will help boost their success in all areas of education, specifically in reading fluency. With added technology, I can ensure them a fun and differentiated education.
Chromebooks and the use of technology in the classroom are constantly advancing in today's world!
Chromebooks help students to be engaged in their learning process and has generated improved academic success.
My students will be excited to develop their technological and research skills to improve their overall learning with the use of the Chromebooks. They will be able to access their web-based learning software Lexia and online reading software epic.
All of my students especially my English Language Learners will benefit from learning how to operate Chromebooks and work to improve their skills at their own pace
