My students are bright, brilliant little beings. They are all special children with unique needs. I teach students with autism, and it is the most rewarding experience ever. They come from low-income families and most of my students come to school hungry.
I teach at a Title I school where students receive a free breakfast every morning.
Once their little bellies are full in the morning, they’re ready for learning. My students thrive off structure and routine in the classroom.
My Project
My students are in need of materials this coming 2018-2019 school year! I am going to need to start the school year off right with the tools and materials my students need to thrive!!
This project is for increasing my students knowledge of phonics, sight words, letter names and letter sounds.
Teaching multiple grade levels (Kindergarten-2nd) requires a multitude of resources. These specific materials like Learning Letters Activity Centers, Touch and Read Phonics Match, and Float and Find Alphabet Bubbles will really engage and allow fun and learning to flow through the fingertips of my students!! Hands-on materials are a great way to keep students with autism engaged in learning.
