This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are in a very challenging moment in their lives and even the smallest things can do so much to ease the pain inherent in incarceration.

The young students feel the institution does not provide adequate hygiene materials and asked me to ask the donors for help with these items.

The young men have requested some items for hygiene such as deodorant, soap, and body wash which they believe will help them a lot in feeling more confident and respectable. This is so important in an incarcerated setting designed to diminish confidence and respect.

Thank you so much for helping me help my students. They are incredible youth with endless potential. They are always very grateful for any support they receive.
