I teach 8th grade U.S. history to bright, energetic, young kids. This school uses the inclusion model in the classroom in which we need diverse ways of teaching. My students love to learn by using many hands-on activities that get them moving. I know these students are so excited to return to in-person learning and I can't wait to welcome them back and engage them in their learning experience in the best way possible.
All students deserve a comfortable learning environment in which they feel safe and at home.
This is the place they are for most of their day and they deserve to be relaxed and at peace.
My Project
Have you ever heard, "History is SO boring"? I used to think so too when I was in school, but there's actually so many ways to make it fun. My goal is to bring fun and excitement to my students' learning. I want to have fun review games and different rewards for them to stay motivated. It's all about making the material relatable and not dull. Snacks and prizes will be used as prizes for the winning teams when we play different review games before tests. I love to see kids learning and excited about working with their peers.
