Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is a Title I, high needs, low income school with a group of very diverse students! I am teaching a self-contained K-1-2 bridge that contains students with a variety of needs, abilities, languages and disabilities.
Even though my students are all very different with different learning needs and abilities, I try my best to provide them all with a fun, hands-on, engaging and beneficial education!
I want to continue to offer them activities that fit their learning styles. As a teacher, I also want to continue to grow and learn to provide our students with a learning experience that allows them to grow and blossom!
My Project
I am asking for two color printers, ink refills and white and colored paper for our classroom.
These materials will allow my students to create and print work on the computers and iPads and will also allow me to provide them with color copies and worksheets.
All of my students have learning disabilities, and one thing that really aids them in retaining and understanding is worksheets or resources printed in color. They also love to use technology to make art and stories.
The addition of these materials to our classroom would greatly impact their learning, enable the students to print and see their work and allow me to provide my students with better materials and resources!
