My Students

My students and I are excited about learning this year. We are a diverse group of learners that build each other up every day. I believe they are all smart, special, and somebody. I want them to feel that in our room and believe it too! My students are simply the best and our school is one amazing place to learn and grow! My students are eager to learn as they enter school each day. They are tiny sponges ready to create and explore. My students love science, centers, writing, and math! I am hoping to keep them engaged this year by providing a variety of safe, meaningful, and engaging learning experiences.

All of my students have the desire to learn, and my goal is to help them achieve excellence in learning by providing a positive and student-focused learning environment that fosters a love for learning and an appreciation for all.

I am a teacher who strives to ensure that all students are provided with a rigorous and personalized education that will prepare them to be life long learners and contributing members in a global society.

My Project

My amazing students are ALL back and it is better than ever! Don't get me wrong, this year has been unique and presents many challenges; however, with grace and perseverance we are rising to them. In my county and school we are not currently permitted to go on our playground equipment or share any recess materials. Due to this, I want to be sure my students have many fun, engaging activities that they can do when they are outside. These recess bags will provide my students that safe opportunity. Recess bags will include but not limited to jump ropes, bouncy balls, slime. etc. School has been re-imagined and I am doing my best to provide my students with the same experiences and opportunities as in years past. This means being creative and finding new ways to do things! And I believe these individual recess bags will exceed these expectations and put smiles on their faces during their outside playtime.

These bags will be carefully assembled for each student, so they each have their own set of activities/games they can play with during our outside recess time.

Giving students a mental brain break which includes stimulating activities to choose from is even more important this year. I prefer to call this year unique and will continue to make lemonade with lemons because my students are more than worth it. Please help make recess great again for my precious students, thank you!
