Help me give my students the opportunity to be successful in their learning. The different learning tools will enhance their learning and promote higher thinking.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I have the great honor to teach 20 wonderful students. I teach at a Title I school, which has limited funding. I teach preschoolers, ages 3-4 years old. I have the opportunity to make a great impact in their lives. Due to their economic status, they are faced with many challenges, socially and academically.
"Changing Lives, One Child At A Time"
My students are eager to learn new concepts. They enjoy exploring and being adventurous. When a new concept is learned, their faces light up and have the biggest smile. As, a teacher, this warms my heart. As I teach my students, I am faced with the challenge of not having some of the necessary materials that are needed to help in making them successful.
My Project
These different tools will give my students, who have a variety of learning styles, the opportunity to explore and have fun while learning. My tactile learners will have the opportunity to learn by exploring the different tools through touch. The tools that provide visual aid will enhance my visual learners' skills. Also, the tools that enhance listening skills, will provide support for my auditory learners.
By giving my students the opportunity to learn, using different resources, and by adding these tools to our tool boxes, it will aid in building their brilliant and spongy minds.
I am excited to see their excitement as they explore the different tools, while learning. Thank you
