My Students

This year, my students come from a variety of backgrounds as well as many first timers to our school.

We live in a neighborhood of hardworking, dedicated families who are supportive of a positive learning environment.

Our school is composed of multiple different ethnic backgrounds and ability levels. My students come to school with an eagerness to learn as much as they can and also be the best they can be. Within the walls of my room, my students create a fun work environment.

My Project

Due to a wide range of student reading levels in my classroom, a wide range of books is needed.

We read silently every day and I want to make sure I have a variety of nonfiction, fiction, and topics for all of my students.

Twice a week, we complete activities to go along with nonfiction books.

These books will be used for projects, leisure reading, AR points, rewards, and assignments. My hope is that these books will serve as a resource to expand the imagination and knowledge of each of my students.

Also, Math and Science themed books will help reinforce what my students learn from my lessons.
