Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have enthusiastic first graders who are excited about learning. I teach at a school that has students from transitional kindergarten all the way up to eighth grade. Many of my students are English Language Learners.
My students come from a variety of backgrounds and abilities.
I have to support all different kinds of learners. In order to do this, I must have a variety of learning materials to meet their needs. Every learner is a priority in my classroom!
My Project
We have been out of our classroom for several weeks and I want to brighten up the classroom. I am requesting bulletin board paper and borders to display student work. I am also requesting a pencil dispenser for students to use when their pencil is dull and table tops for the top of our kidney table.
I want my classroom to be inviting and attractive so my students will be inspired to do their best.
Classroom materials can be expensive and I want to brighten up the classroom when we return to school. My first graders deserve the best and I want to give that to them! Environment is important and these materials will help me make the room attractive.
