My students are wonderful! I know every teacher feels that way, but mine are spectacular. What I enjoy most is their willingness to explore new concepts and broaden their knowledge on familiar ones.
My students and I have a great rapport which allows us to work through some of the most challenging material as a family, and ultimately succeed in the end.
Although some of my students have passions that lie outside of math, they are open to topics I present and their real-world applications.
Over the years I've learned that students respond more enthusiastically to brightly colored pages of information compared to the usual white paper. Colored paper is a useful way for me to differentiate assignments and tasks for my students. We're able to create foldables, enhance class notes, and create eye-catching reference charts.
There's something about a brightly colored sheet of paper that transforms an activity, notes, or assignment into a more appealing task for students.
Students are able to reference information easier when concepts are connected to the color page it was recorded on. This paper will allow them to have visually stimulating manipulatives in class and create beautiful projects that will increase their chances of retaining pertinent information.
