I have to answer the question "why?" a hundred times a day...and I love it! My students are a resilient bunch that come to school with smiles on their faces everyday. The more hands on the learning, the more they thrive. To keep their love of learning alive, I want to heighten their curiosity by continuing to provide a variety of experience with your help. Please help me and my diverse bunch of kiddos continue on our journey of becoming lifelong learners!
My Project
My students will use the brightly colored paper every day in the classroom. My goal would be to make copies of homework and worksheets on colored paper instead of white to keep them more engaged. There is something about when a child gets colored paper versus plain white that they seem to be more excited and interested. Students will be able to use this colored paper to make their assignments come to life. They will be able to print on colored paper, choose different paper to use for their writing and printing off online projects they complete to show off their work in the hallways, and let their creativity fly. I envision students brightening up the classroom using this color paper in Math and in ELA, to help them stay more engaged in the task they are asked to do. The colored paper will help them stay more alert, and motivated to complete their work.
