Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My classroom is made up of 18 eager to learn students. This is many of my students' first time in a school setting. My students live in a community that is a high need, low-income area made up of hard-working parents who set amazing examples for their children. Many of the students do not have access to computers or updated technology at home.
My students want to learn and develop and understand what school is about while having fun.
With support, I will be able to bring in new, innovative ways to keep my students engaged.
With our school losing close to a million dollars from the school budget for the 2018-2019 school year, we need your help now more than ever!
My Project
With your generous donation, we will be able to receive colored ink to keep our laser printer running. The ink is extremely important in helping develop wonderful tools to help my students grow as learners. Ink gives me the opportunity to create wonderful and innovative learning activities for each center.
Due to the lack of funding, it is nearly impossible to purchase material to support the valuable learning that goes on in our PRE-K classroom.
The color printer is extremely important in helping me create activities that help my students learn about each unit, about light, family, transportation and our community.
