This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are the future. My students are bright, eager to learn, creative, and seek out the solutions to problems. All of my students are gifted, but that does not mean that life and education comes at them easily.

My students include many English Language Learners, and come from low socioeconomic status, but they are each very unique.

The needs of gifted students varies greatly, and my goal is to meet each of their individual needs and to help them grow as individuals.

My Project

Nobody enjoys being stuck in a room with no color or minimal decoration. That creates a feeling of boredom, dullness, and lack of enthusiasm. I don't want that for my students!

Many kids are visual learners and respond more positively to a visually appealing environment.

With a Cricut, I could create many eye-catching signs and bulletin boards that look professionally done. This would help me create an atmosphere that makes our classroom feel like a bright, colorful, lively place that encourages creativity, is fun to be in, and sparks excitement.
