This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students live in a low-income/high poverty school district. Many of my students are faced with challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, they love going to school.

I am looking to keep things fun and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.

They love to play, and they love to learn. My four- and five-year-olds are eager to learn. I can help them learn by providing a ​welcoming and organized learning environment for all my students.

My Project

We spend a nice part of our day working in whole group. Having this carpet would make the area more comfortable.

With all the flooding that has been happening in our area, a lot of these kids do not have a spot to lie down on to read or study at home.

A new carpet could cut down on some of the allergies and other minor health issues that come with the season changing.

We need a nice clean area to sit in. I know my students would really enjoy just laying on our new carpet to read and learn. Thank you for your kindness.
