My students need 4 sets of building bricks and 2 sets of mini figures so that my students can create stop motion animation and enhance their coding experience.

My Students

Our elementary students grow and learn at a Pre K-5 rural elementary school. Being in a rural community, we would like to bring opportunities that they may not be exposed to otherwise. They are wonderful children who are eager to expand their experiences and minds. We are partners in our journey through the years they spend with us.

Being a part of their journey, I have learned from my many years of teaching that students need to be connected to what they are learning.

My Project

My students will use building bricks and mini figures to create and bring to life their thoughts in a visual and tangible medium. They will also use the building bricks as part of their introduction and ensuing tasks for coding. In all these experiences, my students will continue to strengthen their critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and collaborative skills.

"To make a future that we dreamt up real requires creative scientists, engineers, and technologists to make it happen," a quote attributed to scientist Neil deGrass Tyson and I believe by having these resources available for my students, they will have many opportunities to grow creatively.
