Breathe For Change With Our Youth

I need financial assistance for a teacher training so I can bring social-emotional learning and wellness to my school.

My Project

This project will cover the cost for the Breathe for Change professional development training program. This is a Monthly weekend course that will provide formal training in the area of social-emotional training, wellness, and yoga to young people. As a teacher of many students with different needs and backgrounds, this training will help give me guidance when supporting students with various traumas that may hinder their learning daily.

I look forward to learning new strategies to create a safe, inclusive, and healthy learning environment for each of my students.

I cannot wait to share these practices with my colleagues so all students can benefit from this training.

Upon completing the Breathe for Change course, I will become a certified Social-Emotional Learning Facilitator and earn a nationally recognized RYT-200 yoga certification.
