My students need EDU breakout boxes in the classroom! These boxes will allow us to play engaging and interactive games that will enhance our teamwork and critical thinking skills.

My Students

My classroom is made up 4th graders who absolutely love to read. I am always looking for more material to encourage their love of reading, while deepening their critical thinking skills, vocabulary, and comprehension. The school district that I teach in has a low income rate of over 70%, as well as a mobility rate of more than 30%.

My Project

I fell in love with EDU Breakout boxes at a recent iPad training. The games were so engaging, motivating, and really made a bunch of adults think! I immediately began to think of all the different ways I could use these boxes in my classroom.

With the breakout boxes, I would have access to over 250 different games to use with students.

These games would be used at different points throughout the year to foster teamwork and to deepen critical thinking skills. I would love to use a breakout box on the first day of school to set the tone of teamwork and never giving up throughout the year. These boxes are great hands-on activities that allow for every type of thinker to be successful.
