Help me give my students an escape from the usual classroom routine! Escape rooms have become a popular way to get and keep students thoroughly engaged.
I have high expectations for my students, and I believe in each one of them with all my heart. I have faith that each of my students is capable of success regardless of their individual disabilities or failures each have had thus far. I push them to their limits!
I teach an inclusion classroom, which means I teach regular education students along with students with special needs.
No matter the circumstances, I expect every child to give me his/her best each day he or she steps in my doorway!
My Project
In order to escape the classroom, students will have to use their previous and current math knowledge to figure out lock codes. Students will be required to use team-building skills during the activity.
Classroom escape rooms (or breakout challenges) will amp up the engagement and problem-solving opportunities in my classroom.
These activities will help every student become involved and engaged. This kit can be reused in a variety of ways for years to come.
Classroom transformations have become a way to reengage students throughout the year as well. The table cloths and decorative curtains will be used to help transform the classroom throughout the year.
