This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My American History and APUSH classrooms are a place of challenge and discovery. Students spend this year learning the foundation of knowledge and skills they will need as they move forward in school
The students are 11th graders in a rural eastern NC school district.
They are excited to explore the American History collaboratively, to learn about US History and their place in the World and to expand their capacity for critical thinking. They take pride in their efforts and are willing to challenge their minds for the sake of learning.
My Project
My APUSH and American History students love to work collaboratively with hands on projects. These breakout boxes will make it possible to give my students collaborative and problem solving skills that they need not only for school but for life. They will also give my students a fun way of reviewing, making lasting impressions in their memories! Collaborative and problem solving skills are essential for students to be successful.
My students need Breakout Boxes to increase problem solving skills and collaboration.
My school is a poor rural school in NC. Without the help of generous donors, we can not afford the breakout boxes. Please help me to get my students the supplies we need for a successful history program.
