My Students

My students live in a lower socioeconomic area in New Hampshire. They do not have access to materials like some of the other students in the district or surrounding towns. We are a diverse, Title I school economically and culturally and we are always looking for ways to improve the quality of our instruction and student learning in our school.

We have written grants to bring in Smartboards and Chromebooks to our school and we are always looking for ways to incorporate technology to help our students become college and career ready.

My Project

My students need to learn how to Integrate technology and the necessary skills for today's ever-changing global society. These skills are constantly changing and I feel that adding the latest technology into our classroom will help my students acquire these new skills and in turn help prepare them for being active members of society.

My students will use Google Classroom and Microsoft 365 and other collaboration tools to learn, create and interact with each other.

I feel that classrooms need to be a place for collaboration and dialogue where students come together to learn and interact.

Technology in the workforce is something that is not going away and the ability to use a variety of software programs and tools is more important now than ever. I feel that the more experience my students have with these tools the better prepared they will be in the future.
