My Students
My kids come to school five days a week to learn and be loved. They want praise and recognition for all the good they do, and they do plenty. They deserve the best I can give them. They are a very animated group of kids who are willing to try anything, and we are consistently changing our way of learning. When we walk into our classroom, we know this is a family. We can count on each other, talk about almost anything, and accomplish everything we put our mind to.
My Project
Breakout EDU is an immersive learning platform. It utilizes games to help teach important skills that are so important in life, that can't be taught out of textbooks, the 4 C’s.
Communication, critical thinking, creativity and collaboration are used in abundance any time the students take on a breakout challenge.
To be successful, students must use grit, persevere, attempt solutions, fail, and try again. Breakout kits and the platform access brings engaging alternatives to traditional classroom activities like worksheets. textbooks, and lectures.With the kit and platform access I will be able to provide the basic materials necessary to present puzzles for students to decipher, each clue leading to another. Along with games available for all ages and content areas, students will use teamwork to ultimately unlock the strongbox.
