Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing! They are all very kind and respectful and came to me eager to learn. Our class works as a team. The students are such hard workers and inspire me so much each day conquering all of the challenges put in their way. We already see such growth! I would love to see their faces light up as they master new concepts in an exciting, research proven based way. Our special needs program is new on campus and I would love for my students to have the same technology opportunities as the other students. I know how hard they will work on these programs and can’t wait to see how far it will take them.
My Project
These Chromebooks will allow my students the access to the already research based, effective computer programs my school has in place. My students deserve the opportunity to have equal access to technology even though they are living in a low socioeconomic area. The Chromebooks will allow my students with special needs to bridge the gap with the intervention programs.
I would love to see their faces light up as they learn new educational material in a fun way while also learning how to use technology and be ready for their futures in a now technology based world.
My students have such perseverance and I would love to see their growth with this added opportunity.
