My Students

Our students are special in so many ways. They are amazed and grateful for the smallest things. They are eager to learn even though they have so much working against them. Our students are from a high poverty area, but that doesn't hold them back.

My students' eyes are filled with joy when they walk into the classroom.

This is their safe space to learn and explore. They appreciate any and every experience they have at school. The students are hard workers who need experiences with new and exciting classroom materials.

My Project

Boogie Boards are a wonderful tool to get students excited about learning. We will use these in a variety of ways. We will sound out words and spell them on our Boogie Boards. We can also work math problems on these. We can add, subtract, and manipulate word problems in a fun, new way. We can also use these for basic handwriting skills. The students will be over the moon to write letters and numbers on the boards. Boogie Boards add an extra element of enjoyment to normal classroom skills!
