My students need a one year subscription to BrainPop Jr to help build background and excite them about learning.
This project expired on October 22, 2013.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are excited to learn but I need to "hook" them first! BrainPop Jr. will allow me to "hook" them before I begin my lessons!
I spend my days with 22 fun-loving first graders!
We have a variety of needs in our classroom. I work with several students that need extra support in reading and math. I also work with five English Language Learners that would benefit from a variety of lessons. They are all working hard to master the common core standards!
I work in the "Friendliest School in the Nation." Our students work hard and love coming to school each day. There are approximately 1,000 students that attend our K-5 building each day. Our school recently was designated as a reward school for our students high achievement. You can help us excite our students to learn more every day!
BrainPop Jr. is an educational website that has fun and engaging animated videos for all content areas. It also has games and activities aligned to the standards. Since I work with language learners, many of my students lack the essential background knowledge that would help them understand the curriculum covered in my classroom. I would be able to show them videos to introduce concepts and review with students as needed. I would also allow students to independently access BrainPop Jr. during our reading and math stations via the iPad.
Help me "hook" my students!
I need this subscription to help build my students' background knowledge while having fun at the same time. Digital courseware and eBooks are the future of education. Please consider donating to help bring BrainPop Jr. to my firsties! You can make a difference! Thank you!
