My Students

Incorporating technology into the classroom is essential in today's world. Students need consistent access to the wealth of information that is offered via the Internet. Brain Pop provides students with a motivating, engaging learning environment while also helping them build computer skills.

My 70 seventh and eighth grade students attend school in a very small town of 2700.

There are a wide variety of skill levels in my classes as well as a variety of social and economic levels. Individual, team, and whole-class learning environments will be supported with BrainPOP. Both grammar and literature classes will benefit from this site.

My Project

BrainPOP creates animated, curriculum-based content that supports educators and engages students. Videos are tailored to students' interests and presented in kid-friendly language. Resources include movies, quizzes, games, mobile apps, experiments, activity pages, and much more covering hundreds of topics within English, Science, Social Studies, Math, Technology, Arts & Music, and Health. All content is aligned to and searchable by state standards including Common Core.

BrainPOP showcases teaching videos, as well has having online quizzes, activities, and worksheets that are standard aligned.

It is interactive and will be able to enrich the daily learning lives of my students.
