My Students

My students have special needs that range from intellectual disabilities, speech and language impairments, and autism. The grade levels range from Kindergarten to 3rd grade students.

They are a wonderful group of kids who come to school every day ready to learn.

They have a hard time sitting still due to ADHD, autism, and other developmental delays. Even though this can be difficult, my students do not let their disabilities hold them back from anything. They strive to be their best every day.

My Project

My students often come to school hungry. They receive breakfast and lunch fairly early in the day. By mid-afternoon, most of my students are hungry again. Only a few bring a daily snack. The others do not bring a snack. I try to provide a healthy snack, but the out of pocket costs quickly adds up. My students need healthy snack options such as granola bars, goldfish, fruit snacks, and of course cookies! These snacks will help fill their stomachs so they can concentrate on school work and not on their hunger. Please help to meet my students basic needs so that I can meet their educational needs.
